The Alumni Association was established in the year 2002 to link the Alumni directly with our institution. The past students gather on last Sunday of December every year to maintain the updated and current information of the alumni, to encourage and promote close relations between the institution and among the alumni themselves. It also allows the alumni to acknowledge their gratitude to their institutions. Our institution honour’s the distinguished Alumni every year during the Annual Day Celebrations.
Vision
Alumni Association shall serve as a platform to bridge the gap of student – alumni interaction driven by the ideals and values that shall ensure the upliftment of both present and future alumnus with support to build a social, knowledgeable and motivational capital for our institute and students.
Mission
As a dynamic organization, keen on the excellence of Sakthi Polytechnic and its Alumni, the Alumni Association strives to nurture a lifelong intellectual and emotional relationship with the college and amongst Alumni; and to provide sustainable platform for effective networking, goodwill and support.
The important objectives of the ALUMNI Association as lay down in the memorandum then were as follows:
The Alumni Charitable Trust is registered on 2009 and governed by the Chief-Patron Dr.S.Senthilarasu, (Principal) as Chairman. Principal of the Sakthi Polytechnic College shall be the chairman, governs and guides all the activities of the trust. The President, Secretary, Joint Secretary and Treasurer shall look after all the day to day activities of the association. Treasurer shall maintain all the accounts for each financial year and submit the audited statement for approval to the general body meeting.
A separate bank account is created for the SPACT in Canara bank, Sakthi nagar branch in the name of SAKTHI POLYTECHNIC ALUMNI CHARITABLE TRUST with the signing authority of Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer.
The Sakthi Polytechnic Alumni Association (SPAA) is formed on 2002 and governed by the Chief-Patron Dr.S.Senthilarasu, (Principal) as Chairman. Principal of the Sakthi Polytechnic College shall be the chairman, governs and guides all the activities of the association. The President, Secretary, Treasurer and Alumni Coordinator shall look after all the day to day activities of the association. 
SPAC-Sakthi Polytechnic Alumni Cell
The Sakthi Polytechnic Alumni Cell is governed by the Chief-Patron Dr.S.Senthilarasu, (Principal) as Chairman. Principal of the Sakthi Polytechnic College governs and guides all the activities of the Alumni cell. The Coordinator, Members and department Coordinators shall look after all the day to day activities of the Alumni cell.
The following alumni of our Institution have sponsored various equipment, public addressing systems, irrigation systems and etc. for the benefit of the Institution and the students.

Establishes regional or international alumni chapters that organize local events, allowing alumni to stay connected regardless of their location.
To integrate our alumni in a particular region, we started 6 alumni chapters in the following towns in tamilnadu and overseas. Through these alumni chapters, their personal information are collected and shared to all, which helps them get business opportunities, job opportunities and consultancy.
The alumni chapters provide a vital link between alumni and their alma mater, offering numerous advantages that enhance personal, professional, networking, fundraising and community development.
Alumni meet are conducted at regular intervals in our institution for the benefit of our students and to strengthen the alumni association.

Every year last Sunday in December, ‘Alumni Day’ is celebrated at our institution. The Alumni General Body Meeting will also be conducted on the same day. All the arrangements for the Alumni Day celebrations are taken care by the silver jubilee batches and Alumni cell. Last year alumni day celebrated on 24th December 2023 (Sunday) and it is organized by the silver jubilee 1998 batch students.

The ALUMNI ADOPTION SCHOLARSHIP is introduced in the year of 2019 and provided to the students purely based on their financial position.

ALUMNI MERIT SCHOLARSHIP
The ALUMNI MERIT SCHOLARSHIP is introduced on 2013 and provided to the Meritorious and Financially weaker students. The scholarship amount is distributed to the students on every year Alumni General body Meeting.
