The Red Cross is non-political International humanitarian organization devoted to the service of mankind. In India, the Red Cross society was established by an act of the Indian legislature in 1920 with the three objectives of the improvement of health, prevention of disease and mitigation of suffering.
The Youth Red Cross is one of the most active section of this society. It gives opportunity to lakhs of students all over India to be associated with the activities like building up the international fraternity of the youth , thus promoting the international friendliness, understanding and the cooperation.

The Reader’s Club invites eminent speakers, scholars and writers to deliver speech, which stimulates own thinking power. The members in the club take the book from the Reader’s Club library and develop their habit of reading.
READERS CLUB ACTIVITIES
1.Readers Club has organized Listening practice & Reading practice for the readers club members on monthly twice. It is one of the regular activity. Students are eagerly attended the classes and got more practice in reading skills.
2.The Hindu Newspaper was distributed to all second and third year students and they were monitored by the co-coordinators of Readers club. Every day, the important news is discussed in the classroom.
3.Every week, readers club members went to all classes and shared their views on important news.
4.Readers Club has conducted English oratorical in connection with Annual Day celebrations.
5.Readers Club has conducted Quiz Competition in English every year.
6.Readers Club has organized guest lectures twice in a year.
The Rotaract club of sakthi institute of Technology was installed on 20.09.1985 under the guidance of Rotary Club of Sakthi Nagar. Along with the parent club, the Rotaract club also celebrated its silver jubilee. The club has its own president, secretary and directors for various avenues of service. The club is ably managed by having a staff adviser. During the past years various staff members and Rotarians acted as Staff Advisers. Because of their immense contribution the club has grown and won many awards. Currently Rtn.Dr.S.CHITRA HOD (I/c) / EEE is the staff adviser of the Rotaract Club. Every year the club does more than 50 projects, with the help of parent club.
The Literary Fine art Club is committed to tap effective communication talent among students; club is poised to enable the talents with cutting edge. To develop and hone the talents literary skills of the students, the club inspires students to develop a taste for literature and also works in the direction of expanding their horizon of spoken and written languages. its intricate agenda includes a variety of activities aimed at building up the confidence and grooming the talents of students in facing various interpersonal challenges and competitions.
