The Agricultural Technology is an ancient engineering field which laid the foundations for the development of other engineering fields. Agricultural engineers play a vital role in development of agriculture and land development for so many other fields. The department aims at producing quality engineers with sound technical knowledge and awareness of the latest advancements in existing and emerging technologies.
This Diploma course on Agricultural Technology emphasis the Dream of our chairman Padmabushan Dr.N.Mahalingam, realizing the concept of Mahatma Gandhi on India lives in Rural fulfilling his Dream in to reality, Our chairman started agro Industries and Technical Industries in Rural area, and this course ”Agricultural Technology” is serving Rural farmers in a big way on Farm technology Transfer and imparting Technical Education. With pride we state that ours is the only polytechnic college in Tamil Nadu offering diploma in Agricultural Technology with full-fledged support of farm machineries and test fields.
Our department is fully equipped with various laboratory equipments worth of Rs. 22 lakhs. Our Students are given tractor driving and field training. It helps them to become strong in understanding theory and gain immense fieldwork knowledge. The continuous efforts and encouragements given by our staff members help our students in achieving First class and 100% results in final semester. We are arranging guest lectures, technical visits and In plant training to all students during their vacations.
Our college has signed Memorandum of Understanding with Sakthi Auto components ltd and EEDISSIA, Erode to extend the facilities available in various industries to the benefit of our students.
